About Serenta HomeCare
Serenta HomeCare is a family run business providing outstanding Homecare to people who need it. Formed in 2011 it was the
ambition of Darren and Sue Pinder to help people in the local community and give the elderly the care, respect and dignity they deserve whilst enabling them to live a longer and more independent life in their own home.
We are registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission and we work alongside Sheffield City Council, doctors, district nurses and pharmacists to make sure our customers receive the highest level of care.
At Serenta HomeCare we work differently to most other care companies; we have situated our office in the middle of the local community we care about and know so well. We have a number of people on our team so you can be assured no matter what we will always be there or if an emergency arises there will always be someone to attend to your needs.
We have strong links to the GP community in Sheffield enhanced further due to being recently acquired by Primary Care Sheffield, a company owned by all GP practices in the city. We strongly believe that Homecare should be better integrated with primary care and work closely with GP's to find new and innovative ways to improve quality of care and the well being of our service users.

I have worked in Care since 2005. After nursing my mother through her illness, it was then I realised I wanted to care for people.
I undertook all my training required then studied for my NVQ qualifications. After 18 months I was promoted to a manager.
I’m the registered branch manager at Serenta HomeCare, it is my job to make sure our customers get the right care they need. I assist with customers support plans and liaise with professional bodies on their behalf. I understand the importance of maintaining dignity at all times and I am committed to providing a professional service.
Job satisfaction for me is knowing that I have changed a person's life and made them smile, this is what we strive for at Serenta HomeCare.
I’ve worked in the care industry since 2011. I have a background in construction but wanted a career change. I’ve always loved meeting new people and helping
others. So working in the care industry is ideal for me.
My role at Serenta Homecare is finance manager. I also enjoy work as a part time carer. I love getting the opportunity to meet with the elderly and listening to their many stories from the past. There is no finer feeling in the world than when you see a person happy and grateful for what you have done for them. My personal aim is to help more people live a happy, fulfilled and independent life.
